Many people would complain about a hospital's food. But what about the water? In a hospital room, the two most uncommon items are the water container and the bed pan. Most of us don't have those items by our bedside at home.
In Congo, most hospitals can barely provide a health care. So water and food are luxury items. They are normally provided by the family. Imagine if you had to bring those items with you when went to visit your loved one?
A little water for drinking is not the problem. What about water for bathing the patients, washing their clothes, and cleaning their space? It is common to see women carrying water around the hospital's grounds.
