Obama is a team player. I think that attribute is most important for our next president whether it be working with Congress, the courts, our allies, and our adversaries. We have too much decisiveness.

Sponsoring and getting a bill passed as a minority (party) and freshman senator is no easy job. But he did it! Obama was lead sponsor of a bill to provide relief and promote democracy in the Democratic Republic of Congo, which was signed into law in December 2006.
It is refreshing to see a freshman senator get involved so quickly into meaningful work. I think addressing and finding solutions that will end extreme poverty in Congo and sub-Saharan Africa is very important. The worst humanitarian crisis since World War II is happening today in the Congo. It is far worst than Darfur.
Extreme poverty is a killer. More than 5.4 million people in the Congo have died unnecessarily due to preventable and treatable diseases. If we had a Congress full of Obama-types, ending extreme poverty could happen in the next decade.
If you want a team player then Obama is great choice. The article referenced below cite some of his other achievements.
