Thanks for your messages about the Congo.
I just thought about something (it maybe too late). I'm not sure if I told you, but I'm taking the Discipleship Course at my church Calvary Temple which will end in June. We have been divided into groups. My group is responsible for the major projects that are going on in Europe. We are to research a country that involves Assemblies of God missions, find out what projects we could help them with, and brief the project.
My question to you is, where would you see Congo in this research project? What major projects are ongoing where we could assist them? My group is suppose to be meeting tonight to discuss what each one came up with. I just thought about Congo. Right now, I'm not sure if it's associated with the Assemblies of God missionaries.

MY RESPONSE:
1. Where would you see Congo in this research project? Although Congo is located in Africa, they may consider Congo since it was colonized by Belgium. Also, I think there are some Assemblies of God churches in DR Congo.
2. What major projects are ongoing where we could assist them? I have had contact via email with a pastor from the Assemblies of God denomination. I have not met him. Also, the pastor, here on Pendleton Pike in Oaklandon has done work in the Congo. I need to follow-up with him.
I think researching Congo could be a benefit to you and your group.
