It appears that Uganda and Congo are talking again jointly exploring the oil in the lake separating their two countries. Last month, the two countries' president met behind closed doors to discuss their differences.

THE Ugandan Government should ensure that the technology going to be used for oil exploration in Lake Albert does not tamper with the ecosystem in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
This appeal was made by Kayembe Ditanta, a DRC official of the ministry of environment, water resources, forestry and tourism.
He said Uganda should also ensure that the chemicals the exploration firms intend to use would not affect fishing activities. He called for consultations between the two states since they share Lake Albert where oil was discovered recently.
PRAYER:
Dear Heavenly Father, please help Congo and Uganda to explore for oil and keep Lake Albert safe for fishing. AMEN.
