One of the must-see sites in Bulape is the water source. This site is in the area near the hospital's original water source. The area is covered with water springs. Water just bubbles up from ground under the dense growth of vines, bushes, and other vegatation.
Children walk down the hill to the water source to fill up their plastic can. Then they carry them back up the hill to the village. That's how the majority of the village gets water for drinking, cooking, and bathing.
Imagine having to carry water up the hill back to the village to be used for irrigation. It is not happening!
