In developing countries, mobile phones will be the entrance ramp for the information highway. I can not agree more Dan Hesse of Sprint. Ironically, Sprint will not be part of the landscape.
Mobile phones will be used for more than just talking in Congo, too. Most people are buying internet-ready phones. These phones will be used in health, agriculture, development, education, and commerce. There are a number of pilots starting or in process to use mobile phones.
In the coming week, I will highlight some of those projects used in the fight against.
