Yesterday, I got a wakeup call (to action). The Ministry of Health of Congo reported that 700 kills die every day in five mostly peaceful provinces. Extreme poverty kills, too!
Today, we think about the violence in world as the killers. Occasionally, we have natural disasters, too. For example, earthquakes kill. But earthquakes kill quickly. Hunger kills slowly. In a matter of hours, about 230,000 Haitian died. In matter of months, hundreds of thousands of Congolese children die from hunger.
We can do something about hunger! If you want to help contact Congo Helping Hands.
