I have did it! You have probably did it, too! We have all driven too fast. Or we have sit back and let someone drive too fast. It's the thrill!
When driving in the rural Congo, the 'average' speed is about 15 miles per hour. To average 15 MPH, you must occasionally drive fast. Fast in the Congo can mean as fast 45 MPH.
Riding on the back of a motorbike was new for me. And going fast on a motorbike was really too much. But fast is relative. At the time, I was hanging on for dear life itself. I finally got the nerve to get my Flip Video camera out and to take this video.
