Food is normally the domain of Congolese women and girls. They are responsible for getting it from the seed form to the field and finally, to the table. So they are food chain manager!
However, manager is a misnomer. They are more of the food chain worker. They carry the seed to the field. They plant the seed. They weed the field. They harvest the crop. They carry the crop to home and to the market. They prepare and cook the food. They serve the food to their families.
