It is hard to imagine the big odds of women and babies dying in Congo. It happens too frequently. It just seems too unnatural for young mothers and their babies to be victims.
Malaria is big killer for both mothers and their babies. Malaria is spread by the bite of a small mosquito.
Malaria is both preventable and treatable. Long lasting insecticide treatment nets prevents malaria. There is no vaccines presently available against malaria. But modern and herbal medicines are less effective.
