It's that time of year again. You need to count your dependents to determine the correct number of exemptions. In Congo, a personal tax system does not exist.
In the US, I know of three states that don't have a income tax system. These states find other ways to raise revenue like oil or tourism taxes.
Congo has lots of minerals and other natural resources to support its citizens. But it's not happening. Taxation is not working. Therefore, poverty is prevalent.
