In Congo, I have a little fear of bridges. But I have more of fear of no bridges where there should be a bridge.
Sometime bridges breakdown. Sometime they are washed-away. That causes more of a problem than have to get out of vehicle and walk across a bridge.
A normal half-day trip turns into a full-day trips when a bridge is missing. Congo's infrastructure like roads and bridges is near non-existent in many places especially in the rural areas.
